The uneven warp thread, a sign its being handspun, is dyed in a tonal mix of pinks, lavender, and reds suggesting roses in bloom. Cross-wise thick and thin cotton weft colors in purples, pinks, ebony blue, orange and gold bring the mix to life in the pairing of larger weft thread every inch with resist dyed areas. This is a good example of “slow art” as a devotion and process of creating products.
