Cotton & Rayon Fabric

Many of our artisans are certified by the Thai Department of Environmental Quality and they are trained in the use of safe-dye techniques and are green certified. Others work with natural dye materials they gather locally or cultivate in nearby plots, such as indigo.

All cottons are medium weight plain weaves, and are sold by the yard unless otherwise indicated.

Made by an elderly dyer and weaver in NE Thailand this complex weft ikat design is usually seen in silk. Use of the two detailed selvage borders elevates its standing as a quality piece as does the use of multiple colors and the traditional diamond motif.
